Maya Altman

Maya Altman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been with the Health Plan of San Mateo since June, 2005. Before joining HPSM, Maya served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the San Mateo County Health Department, providing budget and financial leadership for the county hospital, public health, mental health, and aging and adult service divisions. Prior to this position she worked in a variety of capacities at the health department. Her long history with HPSM and deep commitment to the Healthy Fight for its members began before joining the Plan, while working several years with HPSM as a representative of the county health department.
