Dieter Shirley
Dieter is co-founder and CTO of Dapper Labs, the company behind CryptoKitties, the most successful consumer app on the blockchain. He is also the first author and original inventor of ERC-721, the standard for all non-fungible tokens ("nifties") on Ethereum. Prior to starting CryptoKitties, Dieter was chief technical architect at Axiom Zen for five years, where he remains an advising partner.
Prior to Axiom Zen, Dieter was head of development at Atimi, building award-winning apps for Fortune 500 companies including Bloomberg, HBO, and the New York Times app on the first AppStore. Prior to Atimi, Dieter was a Senior Software Engineer at Apple for three years after Apple acquired SchemaSoft where Dieter served as lead engineer. At Apple, Dieter helped bring some of the tech giant's most important consumer products to the web including Keynote, Pages, and the initial version of the iWork suite.
