Zach Sorenson works as a Legislative Aide to Congressman Adam Schiff, who represents the stretch of Los Angeles County from West Hollywood to Pasadena and chairs the House Intelligence Committee. Zach advises the congressman on technology, transportation, and environmental policy issues. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he enjoys skiing and backpacking, and has written in Slate about his experience growing up gay and Mormon. With an academic background in computer science, Zach is interested in improving the way government handles the challenges posed by emerging technologies.
