Christine Hoang is an award-winning Vietnamese American playwright, producer, and performer. She is also a full-time attorney, wife, and mother. In 2015, Christine founded Austin's artistic nonprofit Color Arc Productions with a mission to shine light on diverse stories through theatre, film, and music. In December 2017, her original play PEOPLE OF COLOR CHRISTMAS became the first play to tour all four of the City of Austin's Cultural Centers (Asian American Cultural Center, Mexican American Cultural Center, Dougherty Arts Center, George Washington Carver Center). In 2017, Christine's original play A GIRL NAMED SUE won the Austin Critics Table Award for Best New Play. She is currently working on her first musical called ROMEO & KATRINA: A NEW AMERICAN MUSICAL SET IN POST-KATRINA NEW ORLEANS. Christine Hoang is an Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF) Board Member.
