Lisa Bolan

Lisa Bolan creates title sequences, visual effects and motion design for film and television. Her work is a painterly synthesis of live action, CG, illustration and typography as seen in her title sequence work for Netflix’s “Altered Carbon” and TNT’s “The Alienist” - both which have been nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award in Outstanding Title Design.

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with degrees in illustration and graphic design, Lisa began her career in design as an art director for 1K Studios, designing motion projects for The Parent Trap, Zodiac, Deadwood, Six Feet Under and The Sopranos.

In 2008 Lisa began working at Prologue Films, where she designed over 30 film and television titles including Battle Creek, The Fifth Estate, Pain & Gain, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part One & Part Two, Sleepy Hollow, Arthur, The Apparition, ESPN 30 for 30, and The Oscars.

In 2017, Lisa joined Elastic as Creative Director and Motion Designer.
