Mary Carmen (MC) directs a portfolio of new consumer health start-ups for P&G Ventures, including Pepper & Wits, a fem tech brand that equips women to reclaim their bodies from the symptoms of menopause. She graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and holds an MBA from the Williams College of Business. In her 21 years at P&G, MC has led operations, strategy, marketing, product innovation, design, business development and market roll-out for a range of global $1B+ brands and start-ups. Her experience spans luxury beauty, fragrances, cosmetics, skin care, personal care and consumer health. MC has been recognized as one of P&G's Brand Masters (<1% of the company's brand builders), serves in the advisory board for the Williams College of Business, and is a guest lecturer at Cornell and Xavier Universities. She previously co-founded a women’s intimate apparel company based in Geneva, Switzerland, and currently advises start-ups in the US and Europe. She is also a founding board member and Chief Marketing Officer for the Sofia Foundation for Children’s Safety, a non-profit dedicated to preventing infant deaths from vehicular heatstroke.
