Regina James, MD, is the Vice President of Clinical Research at 2M Research. Prior to joining 2M, Dr. James served as the Director of Clinical and Health Services Research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. Dr. James also served as the Director of the Office of Health Equity of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the NIH, overseeing research, capacity development, training programs, and informing the public about issues related to differences in maternal and child health outcomes and health equity. Dr. James received her Bachelor of Science in psychology/biology and her MD from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed a residency in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and she completed a research fellowship at the Child Psychiatry Branch of the National Institute of Mental Health.
