Robert Cowden

Rob serves as the speechwriter for the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Dan Coats and the Principal Deputy DNI Sue Gordon. In this role, he has authored speeches on topics ranging from the Intelligence Community’s strategy for artificial intelligence, to national security threats from Russia, to the Intelligence Community’s approach to diversity and inclusion. He has previously served as an intelligence analyst covering a range of political, military, and terrorism issues in South Asia, and as a Congressional aide on Capitol Hill.
