Jeannie Ralston is the founder, editor and adventurer-in-chief of NextTribe, a digital magazine for smart, bold women 45 plus that has the motto, “Age Boldly.” Launched in 2017, Ralston was motivated to create the site because she didn’t like the way the media ignored or condescended to women her age and felt sure she could produce stories that made older women feel heard, understood and relevant.

An award-winning journalist, Ralston has published a wide variety of articles for top publications, including a piece about hiking the Great Wall of China for the front page of The New York Times’ Sunday Travel Section; a cover story for Life on abortion protests; and a Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, article for National Geographic. She has served as a contributing editor for Allure, Parenting, and Ladies Home Journal. Additionally, Ralston’s work has appeared in TIME, Glamour, Smithsonian, Audubon, Prevention, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, and Real Simple.
