Alastair Goldfisher

Alastair has been a business reporter since 1994 and has spent the last 15 years focused on the venture community. He joined the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal in 1994, about a year before the Netscape IPO, working on several beats, including banking & finance, venture capital, the business of sports, retail, e-commerce, marketing & media and technology. Currently, at Venture Capital Journal and PE Hub, he focuses on venture capital, covering everything from startup to exit, including fundraising, data, people moves, tech trends, M&A, IPOs and entrepreneurs. Alastair also is active with conferences, helping Buyouts Insider produce the ParnterConnect and the Emerging Manger conferences.
