Dr. Jeroen B van Hoof

At the PwC Europe Experience Center we help clients with digital transformation. The EmTech team investigates new technologies, build showcases and demonstrators and help in delivering aspects of these new technologies in projects. Jeroen leads the Emerging Technologies team.
He created the blockchain game while at the same time he was the CTO of the startup-within-the-firm called the Blockchain Experience Lab. This effort has since merged into the EC. Before joining PwC in 2015 Jeroen spent 13 years at IBM as a technologist working in diverse fields (from building supercomputers to cyber security). Jeroen has been coding since the early 80’s and been active on the internet since the late 80’s and on the world-wide-web since its start. Jeroen has been using Linux since kernel 0.99 and has written two books on Linux while at IBM. Jeroen regularly speaks at larger events, either on technology in general, emerging technologies or one particular technology (e.g. blockchain).
