Emily Rudenick LeBlanc, M.Ed., LPC-S is the Chief Program Officer at CASA of Travis County, advocating for children involved in the child welfare system. Previously, as Senior Director of Community Advocacy for SAFE, Emily worked to increase the effectiveness of local responses to the crime of sexual assault and family violence, advocate for survivors’ rights, and support the development of community-based collaborations. Emily led the creation of Eloise House, the region’s first community-based clinic for survivors. She has worked with survivors for 17 years and provides training to law enforcement personnel, community advocates and others on topics including domestic violence and sexual assault. Emily served on the faculty of the Expert Witness Training through the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at the University of Texas, and is the former co-chair of the Austin/Travis County Sexual Assault Response and Resource Team.
