Ayesha manages global digital business development for BBC World Service, responsible for delivering global reach, brand awareness and commercial revenues across digital platforms.
Ayesha joined the BBC in 2002 as a News Trainee, going on to work as a Journalist and Producer producing and directing award winning productions for multi platform experiences, most notably for the BBC’s younger audiences. Her experience extends over TV programmes, websites, mobile apps and games. A natural investigator, with a keen mind for emerging technologies and the constantly changing rules of engagement for audiences, she has a particular interest in delivering innovative formats of storytelling, targeting underserved audiences, such as women and young people.
