Pooja Mehta

Pooja Mehta is a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist and Chief Clinical Innovation Officer for the LSUHSC Center for Healthcare Value and Equity, a partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health.

Pooja’s interests are in the use of health care delivery innovation and community-based participatory approaches to advance reproductive health and birth equity and support historically marginalized populations with complex needs. She leads the Louisiana Perinatal Quality Collaborative and the Louisiana Maternal Mortality Review.
