Amanda Clark
Amanda is the Senior Vice President, North America Development and General Manager of Taco Bell Canada. Amanda has more than 15 years of marketing experience across different industries, including QSR and Consumer Packaged Goods. Under her leadership, Taco Bell is set to deliver more net new units in the past two years than any other OSR chain in North America. She also built the first free standing Taco Bells in Canada in the last 17 years. As VP of Brand Marketing at Taco Bell, she developed the innovative Breakfast launch, which won 7 Lions at Cannes in 2014, and the brand’s latest craveable platform, the Naked Chicken Chalupa. These experiences, among many others, has given Amanda unique insight into what makes a strong brand story that not only builds a connection with consumers, but also drives growth.he is responsible for delivering ½ of the company’s growth by driving new unit development from franchisees and corporate. As General Manager of Taco Bell Canada, she she has delivered record double digit same store sales growth for the past two years. Prior to her current roles, Amanda was a VP in Brand Marketing at Taco Bell and lead her teams to deliver breakthrough marketing plans and “tweetable” innovations.
Before joining Taco Bell, Amanda worked at Procter and Gamble for nearly 12 years on some of P&G’s biggest brands, such as Olay, Pampers and Oral-B. While at P&G, Amanda led Olay’s adjacency strategy and innovation plan worth $700MM in sales by developing new vectors of growth for the brand including Olay ProX Even Skin Tone, Devices and Facial Hair Removal. Amanda graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Theater Studies.
