John Savage, PMP, CMPE

As Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at CHA, John guides clinical, analytical and administrative teams supporting 106 member-hospitals and systems in Colorado. He administers grant activities for the Health Education Research Trust, the Anthem Foundation, and the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health to improve clinical outcomes, reduce harm, reduce mortality and increase the quality of care across Colorado.
Prior to joining CHA in 2017, John served 24 years in the United States Air Force as a hospital administrator. He has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California-Irvine, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) of the American College of Medical Practice Executives and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) of the Project Management Institute. John has focused on improving quality, safety and access in healthcare throughout his entire career.
