Evan Paul has worked on data products in the tech industry for 8 years. He joined Pandora in 2016 to follow his interests at the intersection of data and music. He is currently a Product Manager there on the Recommendations team, where he helps surface the right music at the right time for each listener. In the Spring of 2018, he led the launch of Pandora’s brand new Personalized Soundtracks feature, which algorithmically generates genre, mood, and activity-based playlists that are personalized to each individual user based on their music tastes. Outside of work, he is an avid music fan, DJ, and a musician, playing drums, and more recently, glockenspiel in several local San Francisco bands.
