Michelle Daly

Michelle Solorzano Daly is a Washington, D.C. native, and a Purple Heart Army Veteran who spent 10 years in military aviation. She served 3 tours in Iraq and was medically retired in late 2009 after career ending injuries during a tour in Iraq. She holds an MBA with a concentration in finance and strategic management. Her first language is Spanish because she is the first generation born in the United States. Her mother is from Nicaragua and her father from Argentina. She moved to Austin in August of 2012 and met Kelly Frances West in June of 2013. They then joined forces to start “Lesbutante and The Boss,” an event production company focused on hosting social events for queer womxn. In the last five years, they have successfully created spaces for queer womxn in Austin, TX. Their events are inclusive of everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Their events attract womxn from all over central Texas, to include Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley.
