Dan Shapiro is VP of Strategy & Business Development for William Hill US.
Since entering the U.S. market in 2012, William Hill has grown quickly to become the leading sports betting company in North America. William Hill operates more than 100 sports books in casinos throughout Nevada, accounting for more than half of the state’s locations, and is also the leader as measured by gross win. William Hill offers the leading mobile sports betting app in Nevada with the most betting options and the most locations to open and fund a wagering account. Outside of Nevada, William Hill operates the sports book at Monmouth Park Racetrack in New Jersey and is the exclusive risk manager for the State of Delaware’s Sports Lottery.
Before this, Shapiro served as Director of Marketing for Brandywine Bookmaking part of the original management team. This startup began operating race and sports books throughout Nevada in2008. Brandywine was one of three U.S. sportsbooks acquired by William Hill.
