Daina Trout

Daina Trout co-founded Health-Ade Kombucha alongside her husband, Justin Trout, and best friend, Vanessa Dew, in Los Angeles. Inspired by the anthem “follow your gut,” the company is dedicated to producing the best-tasting and highest quality kombucha on the market. Trout first learned how to brew kombucha during graduate school. After graduation, Trout moved to Los Angeles to work in corporate America, but quit her day job in 2012 to focus on Health-Ade full-time, brewing kombucha in her closet. Over the next 5 years, she nurtured that small production into a national brand, which has received funding from two of the top beverage investment firms in the country, CAVU Venture Partners and First Beverage Group (FBG). In December 2016, Trout and her team moved into a 50,000 square foot brewery in Torrance, CA, where they’re able expand production and meet the burgeoning demand. Health-Ade is currently the fastest growing brand in its category, projected to greatly expand this year.
