Nyssa Straatveit

Nyssa currently serves as the creative thinking instructor in the CIA's Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis. Throughout her career she has maintained a people-centered focus, including private sector experience in human resources prior to entering the government. For more than a decade at the Agency, she has continued this focus, working to serve its people in any capacity she can, including strategic facilitation and career management. Even when she found herself working on a highly technical program, she took her liberal arts background and liaised between many partners translating complex concepts to increase engagement and improve training.
