Alan Holden
An experienced public speaker, facilitator, and entrepreneur, Alan’s interests lay at the intersection of strategy and innovation. He has published numerous papers focused on envisioning how emerging tools and technologies can be used to solve complex public sector challenges, and has spoken at innovation-related conferences around the globe, including SXSW in 2013. In 2010, Alan launched Advocacy4Me.com in an attempt to disrupt the federal lobbying industry and provide advocacy services to organizations that could otherwise not afford them. In addition to his work with Advocacy4Me, Alan also serves as a leader in Deloitte's federal innovation group.
A San Antonio, Texas native, Alan graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2005, and a Master’s of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Melon in 2007. He is an alumnus of multiple fellowship programs, including the GovLab Fellows Program, the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, the Education Policy Fellowship Program, and the Funded Founders Institute for Entrepreneurship.
