Nikola Vasakova

Nikola is film producer and founder of Girls in Film - international network and platform for new generation of womxn in film.
With members worldwide, GiF organises events, publishes new films on their online platform and acts as a grassroots support network for young women and non-binary people in film.
After working at media companies like The Telegraph, The Economist and Boiler Room, Nikola set up GiF Production - a new age production company that focuses on working with and elevating marginalised voices in film.
Nikola will be speaking at SXSW on 9th March - Grassroots Female Network meetup.
