Ed Chung is the vice president for Criminal Justice Reform at American Progress. His work focuses on developing policies that are fairer, more equitable, and more effective around issue such as comprehensive public safety, opportunities for those who are justice-involved, and ending the war on drugs. Chung has been cited in The New Yorker, Slate, and The Huffington Post, among other national publications. He often appears on media platforms such as NPR, Sirius XM, and the Progressive Voices Network, and is also the new co-host of a weekly podcast, Thinking CAP.
