Peter James

Peter James received his B.S. in Computer Engineering and Technology from Prairie View A&M University and his Masters in Cyber Security from University of Maryland-University College. He is currently the Security Architect for UCLA. Peter conducts research on Cyber Security and provides a select few of services through his company AmenRA security. His special skill sets include Incident Response Planning and Implementation, Security Control and Vulnerability Assessment, Malware Analysis, and Computer Forensics. Peter has worked in the security field for the Government, Financial, and the Health Care industries. He enjoys researching security related topics and providing his expertise when needed. Peter has recently seen the importance of providing adequate security for the Health Care industry, and as a result he has focused a lot of his independent research on securing medical devices. Knowledge is Peter's passion and applying that knowledge is his way of creating new technology.
