Ogden Payne

Ogden Payne began his career as a contributing writer at Forbes and Grammy Magazine. He began covering the rise of up-and-coming hip-hop artists like Migos and Jack Harlow, and documenting the journeys they take along their path to success. Over time, Payne’s focus shifted to highlighting hip-hop artists as businesspeople and telling the stories of those who sat at the intersection of music and entrepreneurship. His journalism led him to moderate panel discussions at respected conferences such as SXSW and Revolt Music Conference with music business experts. Following his time as a journalist, Payne started a company called FTS (For the Students) that helps prepare students and adult learners for careers on the business side of music.
