Nadav Aharony

Dr. Nadav Aharony is a product and engineering leader with over 20 years of experience innovating, building, and scaling consumer products and technology platforms. He is currently Director of Product at Uber, responsible for Driver Experience. Previously, he held several product management roles at Google, including Android’s core apps - Gmail, Calendar, and Keep, and Location-related products. He was co-founder and CEO at Behavio (acq. by Google in 2013), which developed a contextual intelligence mobile platform. Additionally, he held product and engineering roles in diverse topics including autonomous vehicles, fiber-based networks, and a conversational, AI-powered B2B marketplace.

Aharony holds doctoral and master’s degrees from the MIT Media Lab, where he was also a fellow at the MIT Center for Civic Media, working on mobile and social activism topics. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering cum-laude from the Technion: Israel Institute of Tech. His work has been featured in academic and popular press including the Wall Street Journal and Wired.
