Kathleen Baireuther
Kathleen Baireuther is the Senior Manager in Ford Smart Mobility's City Solutions practice. She works closely with cities to identify significant mobility pain points and translates those challenges into practical, real-world demonstration projects in partnership with Ford's product teams. She represents a diverse array of commercial and pre-commercial products and services, including: connected vehicle technology, microtransit, urban data analytics, and multimodal journey planning.
Her previous professional experience spans clean energy, technology commercialization, and community and economic development. Prior to Ford, Kathleen managed the mobility as a service and interoperable transit data programs in Rocky Mountain Institute’s Mobility Transformation program. She also served as the Assistant Director of the Austin Technology Incubator’s Clean Energy practice, the Executive Director of the CleanTX Foundation, and Director of Economic Development at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
