Elizabeth McQueen

Elizabeth McQueen is the Producer and Host of the KUTX podcast This Song. In the podcast, she talks to musicians and artists about the songs that changed their lives as way to get them into conversations about creativity, inspiration and why they do what they do.

Before she got into radio and podcasting, Elizabeth was a touring musician. She traveled the country and the world with her own band, as well as with the legendary Western Swing band "Asleep at the Wheel." During her time with the Wheel she played thousands of gigs, sang a duet with Willie Nelson on a record that was nominated for a Grammy, wrote lots of songs and took her two small children on the road with her for 5 of the 8 years she was in the band.
