Jennifer Howd
Jennifer Howd is an author, editor, and indie filmmaker with over 15 years of experience working in the entertainment industry in both NYC and LA. Her debut memoir, "Sit, Walk, Don’t Talk: How I Survived a Silent Meditation Retreat," was featured on NPR, and is published by Zen master, Thich Nhat Hanh's publishing company, Parallax Press. She is the co-founder of The Eastside Mindfulness Collective in Los Angeles, a collective of like-hearted people building a grass-roots, secular, mindfulness-based community, and she lives in Cincinnati with her life partner, Kate, and their son, Angus.
