Allison owns Manic Monkee, which manages bands and does consulting and brand alignment, experimental marketing and creative activations for all kinds of brands, produces events and aligns brands with sponsorship/partnerships. Shaw also produces New Media content for commercials and does the music supervision for them. Shaw has built out several crowdfunding campaigns which have successfully raised over 1.5 million dollars. Allison is also on the Board of Directors for Non-Profit music charity Sweet Relief. Allison just produced LA’s first all solar powered music festival Sunstock Solar Festival in 2016 with all the proceeds going to children with cancer.
Shaw started her career in music writing for MTV/VH1. Allison also founded Hyperactive Music Magazine which was in over 1200 locations nationally. She also started Hyperactive Conference and Music Festival with 200 bands and 60 speakers annually, and was the executive director for Santa Fe Muzik festival with over 65k in attendance over 3 days. Allison headed up the music division for Rachael Ray’s entertainment company Watch which The annual Rachael Ray SXSW Feedback party was born. She also ran the label Listen Records/Sony. Shaw is also co-creator for the Whole Foods/Quantum Collective SXSW showcase. Allison also was Director of Brand Strategy for Rock and Roll Inductee’s Public Enemy.
