Eric Monacelli is the Director of Game Production at Marvel Entertainment. He oversees the game development, creative strategy, brand authenticity, and promotional planning for Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Avengers Project, and other tentpole titles. He represents the Marvel Games division for select Marvel corporate initiatives. He has worked at Infinity Ward, Naughty Dog, Capcom, 2K Games, and Atari in various communications, marketing, and production roles. He was instrumental in getting Sony’s PlayStation Experience off the ground in 2014 and making it an annual event. He has orchestrated many high-profile licensing ventures including the creating a new line of business within PlayStation, the PlayStation Gear Store, via his work launching the Naughty Dog Shop. He’s a thirteen-year vet of the gaming industry and his first major title shipped was 2K’s BioShock in 2007.
