Elliott Hedman
Dr. Elliott Hedman received his Ph.D. from the MIT Media Lab. His dissertation focused on how to measure emotional experiences with technology, which helped build the technology around the MOXO sensors. After working at Google and IDEO, Dr. Hedman spun out a startup, mPath, to bring science and design research closer together. Retailers and marketing agencies quickly signed up to make better shopping experiences. But soon Elliott realized, beyond improving sales, mPath’s more powerful service was building empathy between businesses and the people they serve. Today, mPath primarily focuses on giving children a voice. Dr. Hedman sees a future where companies can innovate and address the emotional needs of all kids.
