Marissa Suiter currently serves as the Program Director- Events and Activities at the University of Minnesota where she oversees a team consisting of five full-time staff and 15 student event planners on the University's Programming Board who plan over 300 events annually. She works more directly with students on talent buying for the University's fall Homecoming Concert (homecoming.umn.edu) and Spring Jam(TM) festival (springjam.umn.edu), as well as several smaller committee events that feature concerts, speakers, and comedians. Past shows have included Kesha, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Jon Bellion, BORNS, Passion Pit, and Nick Offerman.

Marissa graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Psychology and from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor with a degree in Higher Education Administration. She was responsible for concert ticketing and logistics for THE SHOW at Notre Dame, and supervised a programming team as a graduate intern at the University of Michigan.
