Shane began his career as an intern at indie label, Duck Down Music, and within 2 years became Head of Marketing. In his role, he developed marketing campaigns for artists Pharoahe Monch, Sean Price, De La Soul, B-Real of Cypress Hill, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder & Buckshot among others. Shane positively impacted a number of areas of the business including A&R, social media, e-commerce, artist management & label management.

Shane joined leading digital ent. company BBTV in 2014, starting hip-hop brand Opposition which focused on digital marketing strategies for clients like 21 Savage, Lyrical Lemonade, Lil Durk, G Herbo and more. Collectively, Opposition grew to over 1 Billion views/month across their client's YouTube channels. Since then, he has taken over BBTV's music operations where he most recently launched their Distribution & Label services. The new services give artists the opportunity to retain their masters & creative control while still receiving robust marketing + support.
