Shane Gill
Shane Gill started off interning at indie label, Duck Down Music, and quickly moved up to Head of Marketing. There he positively impacted the label through A&R, social media, e-commerce, artist and label management. In 2014, Shane helped build a new company, Opposition, from the ground up and was the main driver in turning it into one of the largest digital music networks reaching billions of streams per month. He’s worked with 21 Savage, Major Lazer, and Lyrical Lemonade to optimize their digital video strategies and diversify their revenue. Shane has grown Opposition into an all genre music brand, offering distribution & label services with a forward thinking deal structure to empower artists through access to funding, digital expertise, and a wide network of tastemakers and brands.
