Laura Jones is the head of Little Underground Management, a producer management company based in New York. Her clients have produced and mixed records for everyone from Fallout Boy to The War On Drugs, Weezer to Animal Collective.
After moving from the UK to the US almost 3 years ago, the company has grown phenomenally. The roster has quadrupled in size, spawned 4 Grammy nominations, including 2 for ‘Best Rock Album’ with Panic! At The Disco and Weezer, received several platinum and gold selling records, and worked on a multitude of critically acclaimed albums. Furthermore, she’s achieved this success within the niche genre of rock and alternative music.
Having worked her way up managing bands in the UK, she landed a job as part of Adele’s production team. From there she saw a burgeoning opportunity in an untapped area - producer management. On moving to the US, she teamed up with esteemed artist management company, ShManagement! to start the production arm of the business, keeping the name Little Underground to maximize the reputation and credibility already established. They are now considered one of the 'super houses' in the production world.
