Heather Trussell Butsch
Heather Trussell Butsch is Sr. Vice President of Memory Lane Music Group, a full-service, independent music publishing company representing a multi-genre catalog of songs that have been recorded by some of the industry’s finest artists including Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Khalid, Tech N9ne, 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Drake, Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart, The Kooks, and Andra Day. Heather joined Memory Lane in 2001 and has been instrumental in expanding the company’s presence and reach in the market. Heather oversees the day-to-day operations of Memory Lane including copyright, licensing, creative and business development. She has secured licensing deals with high profile companies including Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, ABC Disney, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Hulu, Sony Pictures, Fox Broadcasting, Dreamworks, Macy’s, Heinken, Ford and Walmart, to name a few. In 2015 Heather partnered in the formation of Princess Lola Music with the primary objective of acquiring mismanaged/under-managed catalogs and adding value via competent administration and creative monetization. In 2001, Heather received her MA in Music Business from the Steinhardt School Of Education at New York University. She has previously served as an adjunct professor at NYU. She holds a BA in Advertising & Broadcasting from Northern Arizona University.
