East of La Brea

East of La Brea

Ep 1 Aisha and Farha come out to support their friend Moises' cafe opening only to find out it's a haven for white hipsters. Meanwhile, after an incident, Moises has to make a controversial decision in his staff. Ep 2 When Aisha's account is overdrawn, she declares that she is going to cook all her meals for the week. Farha takes another approach and deals with her broke ass woes by selling off her parents old nik-naks. Ep 3 Aisha confronts a micro-aggression by a coworker and tries to rally her friend to have her back as the only two Black women in the workplace. Meanwhile, Farha gets approached to be a spokesperson for a Black hair product and decides to stage a boycott to call them out.
