Gymnastics 2.0 and a New Era in Women's Sports

Mar 9, 2019

12:30pm – 1:30pm CT

How was a sexual predator able to infiltrate some of the most powerful institutions in the United States, abuse hundreds of young girls, and get away with it for decades?

A scandal of this magnitude can only truly be understood as part of a larger conversation about the sport of gymnastics and its approach to developing champions.

In this panel, we contextualize gymnastics abusive past, visualize a better future, and hear from survivors and activists who are fighting to change the landscape of women’s sports.
