The digital divide is widening and now, more than ever, people are searching for value and relevance. Designing for social impact is our collective responsibility—and extends beyond working with Public Sector or NFPOs or having a corporate responsibility practice. This session will discuss the role digital plays in perpetuating poverty, and share approaches to avoid ivory tower design traps. You will leave with a greater awareness of how human-centered innovation can help close this divide, better address the diverse needs of our communities, and ensure access to new economies for all.
