Accessibility: Designing for the Other Billion Users

The range of people using technology is expanding to include a wider variety of characteristics and contexts. The rise of digital assistants - with screens, voice input, and smart home capabilities - is creating new opportunities for more seniors and people with disabilities to interact with, and take advantage of, technologies that make our lives easier. Kiran Kaja will discuss how the Google Assistant team is working to increase accessibility and improve the lives of 1.3+ billion people around the world with disabilities. Google’s mission is to not only organize the world’s information, but also make it universally accessible and useful - we’ll share our top tips on how to design accessible multimodal products.
