On paper, this talk is about Fjord Trends, our annual look at what we expect to impact business and society in the year ahead. But what we’re really discussing here is privilege. See, it’s one thing to spot and share a trend with your clients or the world. But as designers and consultants, we have a much greater responsibility than that. People have an uncanny ability to change or impact things for the worse. But if we can actively confront our own privilege as it creeps into our trend-spotting and our professional advice to clients, who trust us to make and remake their businesses, we might be able to change the world – for the better.
