Doing creative and revolutionary things with new technologies embodies the spirit of SXSW, and bringing those creators together is instrumental the continuation of the maker revolution. Hardware hacking, 3D printing, fabrication, hacker/maker spaces, the internet of things, STEAM, and drones are all becoming more commonplace these days; but creating the community continues to be a challenge.
