Turo CEO, Andre Haddad, has been an immigrant ever since he was 17. The serial entrepreneur is convinced that while the immigration crackdowns persist in the headlines, U.S. businesses suffer. He believes that the attitude of the immigrant and the entrepreneur are synonymous: bravely venturing into the unknown, always striving to be better. In fact, 60% of the United States’ most highly valued tech companies were founded by first or second generation immigrants. Andre stands tall on the issue and will walk through his own journey and highlight the many parallels between immigrants and innovators to prove that immigrants, in fact, are creating jobs, not stealing them.
