Blockchain is changing the world around us – how we interact, how we work and how we run our organisations’ operations. In this panel, there will be an engaging conversation on the (social) impact of the blockchain technology to date and its un-tapped potential.

The panelists will share their examples from around the world of designing and implementing blockchain projects in emerging and developed markets and what it takes to achieve impact at scale.

Actual implemented applications of blockchain projects from diverse sectors will be shared, for example the World Food Programme’s Building Blocks e-wallet in Jordan and the blockchain initiatives supported by the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
