Storytelling in Sports: How to Make Good Sh*t
Bill Gates coined the term "content is king" in an essay in which he also wrote about the future of the internet over 20 years ago. Now, content is still king, but good content, meaningful, dynamic and insightful, is increasingly scarce. In sports, we’ve gone from daily refresh (the newspaper) to hourly (SportsCenter) to more news, information and stories than anyone could possibly consume. Given that reality, how do we make sure we're telling the most compelling stories to cut through the noise? We bring together three master storytellers to pick their brains about why they tell the stories and what they do to ensure their vision cuts through the clutter. Hear what they’ve learned about what resonates with people, so that we can all make more of the good stuff that moves people.
