Leading Local Economic Development in Central America
Local governments in Central America suffer from a lack of infrastructure, planning, and services– all impediments to local economic development. Join this Focus15, where ICMA will discuss how, in centralized countries, it has been assisting local governments to build economic opportunities by developing their capacity to prioritize, plan for, and implement investments that lead to job growth, and the key elements that local governments need to ensure sustainable development.
This session is part of the Focus15 block centered around the topic Powering Local Change through Global Collaboration, with an emphasis on government management.
