The European Union (EU) has recently invested more than 10 million Euros to make women’s economic empowerment in G7 countries and beyond, a core priority. The EU and UN Women in partnership with the ILO have recently teamed up to launch a major initiative, WE EMPOWER, where they will jointly engage the private sector to advance women’s economic leadership and skills for the future over three years.
