For some time now, Immersive Technology has been anticipated to be at that magical tipping point, becoming part of mainstream entertainment choices and even daily routines.
However, Immersive media is not yet as frictionless or ubiquitous as consumers want it to be, and the industry still faces a core challenge in the quest to advance immersive technology, indicating that we might not only be looking for compelling immersive content but, in fact, for the re-creation of social experiences when consuming and also producing creative content.
Our panel, featuring some of the most forward-thinking minds in the field, will explore and engage on this new frontier and discuss use cases, new hardware, and the future of audience engagement in fields as diverse as games, film, VR and mixed reality, sound and music, advertising and brand activation, or visual arts. Let Technology step out of the way and the future of immersive experiences take center stage.
The session is part of the Year of German-American Friendship (“Deutschlandjahr USA”), a comprehensive and collaborative initiative funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, implemented by the Goethe-Institut, and with support from the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
