Sojourner Truth delivered her “Ain’t I A Woman?” speech in 1851 + over 150 years later, womxn of color are still asking the same question. The feminist movement has progressed but the racial divide within the movement has not. Many initiatives are still made by + for white women to the detriment or exclusion of womxn of color. This panel addresses why + how feminism must address race and the impact of failing to do so.
